This exterior 3D rendering project presents a contemporary dual occupancy house on Lawson Street in Australia, created for Arkhaus. The two architectural visualizations show the street-facing design from complementary viewpoints, communicating the dark upper volume, warm timber-clad ground floor, large glazed openings, entrance and boundary treatment within the surrounding residential context.
A central concern was the balance between privacy from the main street and access to natural light. The renderings make it possible to study how the facade, openings, screening and projecting upper level respond to these competing requirements. The wider street view establishes the complete frontage and its relationship with the neighbouring houses, while the closer angle provides a clearer reading of the materials, depth and arrangement of the facade.
By visualizing the dual occupancy development before construction, the images transformed the architectural drawings into a more immediate and understandable representation of the proposed home. This allowed the design's street presence, privacy strategy and material combination to be evaluated through realistic exterior CGI rather than plans and elevations alone.
