This residential visualization study was inspired by DOOI Studio's Luxury Villa on Lake Snagov in Romania. The composition centres on a double-height dining and lounge space, where a monumental faceted feature wall, dark timber panelling and a tall window create a dramatic but carefully balanced interior.
In the daytime rendering, natural light clarifies the scale of the room and the contrast between the pale polished floor, white furniture and darker wall finishes. A glass dining table and six chairs occupy the foreground, with the lounge arranged beyond. Above them, a large translucent pendant acts as both a light source and a sculptural focal point within the tall volume.
The evening version keeps the same camera and design while changing the emotional register. The pendant begins to glow, warmer light settles across the timber panels and the exterior view turns deep blue. Presenting the room in these two conditions demonstrates how lighting can transform the experience of an interior without changing its architecture or material palette.
Day-to-night visualization requires more than dimming the environment. The pendant, spotlights, wall illumination, window view and reflective finishes were coordinated so both images remain materially consistent while communicating distinct moods for the same double-height space.
