The Mapleton project is a residential visualization study in Los Angeles created for Vantage Design Group. The client's central question was unusually specific: how could a new house be organized around the site's existing palm trees instead of removing them? Three exterior renderings were developed to make that relationship visible.

The proposed residence uses long horizontal volumes, broad glazing and warm timber cladding, allowing the mature palms to rise through and around the garden composition. Each camera shows a different relationship between architecture and landscape, from a full lawn view to closer perspectives where trunks, terraces and upper-floor volumes overlap.

By treating the palms as fixed design elements rather than decorative additions, the CGI helped the client evaluate how the house might retain the site's existing character. The images communicate scale, spacing and atmosphere more directly than a plan alone, while keeping the landscape decision at the centre of the project.

The existing palms determined the visual logic of the scene. Camera positions, building massing and garden composition had to keep the trees legible without hiding the residence. The result functions as a practical design study as well as a polished presentation of the proposed home.
