This multi-residential visualization project presents a development of five townhouses on Chicago Avenue in Maroubra, New South Wales, for Arkhaus. The project occupies a compact site with a frontage of only 15 metres, making the arrangement, street presence and architectural treatment of the residences central to understanding the proposal.

The imagery shows how contemporary upper volumes, dark vertical cladding, warm timber elements, glazing and layered landscaping work together across the narrow site. A broader street-facing view communicates the rhythm of the development and its relationship with the surrounding residential setting, while a closer perspective focuses on the material contrast and depth of the facade.

For a dense townhouse development, drawings can explain dimensions but often struggle to communicate how multiple homes will read as one architectural composition. The CGI images translate the proposal into a more immediate visual form, helping viewers understand its scale, character and use of limited frontage without relying on plans alone.

The visual approach concentrated on making the five-townhouse development legible within its constrained site. Camera placement, planting, material definition and natural lighting were used to separate the individual volumes while preserving a coherent overall identity for the project. This created clear presentation imagery for discussing or marketing the residential proposal.
