Shadow House is a modern villa in Saudi Arabia visualized for Azaz Architects. The project called for a convincing desert environment that would feel warm and liveable rather than empty or hostile. Threelight CGI created exterior, pool and interior renderings that connect the residence to its climate through deep shade, broad roof planes and sheltered outdoor living.

Timber, concrete and steel form the core material palette. Their different textures are balanced by pale gravel, restrained desert planting and reflective water, which soften the strong horizontal architecture without disguising it. Daylight images explain the relationship between the pool, shaded terraces and glazed living areas, while the dusk view reveals the warmth of the villa after sunset.

The interior continues the same minimal language with pale surfaces, low furniture and large openings towards the courtyard. Together, the images present the villa as a sequence of protected indoor and outdoor spaces shaped by light, shadow and climate.

The main production challenge was environmental balance. The landscape needed to read clearly as desert while still feeling inviting. Controlled sunlight, pergola shadows, warm timber, sparse planting and water reflections were coordinated so the setting supported the architecture instead of becoming a generic backdrop.
